Welcome friends and Sisters-in-Stamping followers!  We’re taking a flashback in this week’s Fabulous Friday and looking at some of our favorite retired stamp sets.  I am using two sets that I love and will NEVER purge.

The first is a 2013 Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Feeling Sentimental.  This set has three fun old-timey images along with a “celebrate” sentiment.  Great set, right?  It was only available to earn FREE for 2 months and will never be available again…Now you know why you don’t want to miss out on the Sale-A-Bration opportunity each year!
SAB2013I didn’t feel the sentiment from that set was exactly what I wanted, so I pulled out my old-faithful sentiment set – Sincere Salutations.  This set was available for a number of years,  but retired back in 2012. So versatile!
Sincere SalutationsThis single layer card highlights the beauty of these images and only needed a few sequins to enhance the water splatter technique I used.

Here are the CURRENT products used to create this project.  Note: the Washi tape was only used to mask the areas I wanted to sponge with color.

I also want to make you aware of the Paper Pumpkin promotion going on now for October subscribers.  Subscribe with me today!

Stampin’ Up! is showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, by going PINK . . . or at least the October Paper Pumpkin boxes are! And because we know our subscribers want to share the love too, we will be making a donation on their behalf to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Stampin’ Up! will donate:

  • $1 for every active Paper Pumpkin subscriber.
  • Plus, an additional $1 for every new subscriber.

Together, we will make a difference! Here’s how you can help:

  • Subscribe! Your first kit will arrive in a limited-edition pink box that you’ll want to hold onto forever-and we’ll donate $2 because you’re new!
  • Stay active if you’re a subscriber so we can donate $1 for you. Only those who receive the October shipment will be counted for the donation.

Remember, those who get the October kit will not only be donating to a good cause, but they will also get a one-time only, pretty pink Paper Pumpkin box!

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!
