Welcome to another Fabulous Friday!  The Sisters in Stamping are sharing last minute gift card holders, perfect for those last minute gifts for Christmas.  Are you ready?

These gift card holders are super easy to make.   You can make 4 of them from just one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock (and some DSP to embellish)!  I used my gift box punch board to make these easy to assemble.  I punched both sides to make the holder fold nicely.  The measurements aren’t specific, I just lined the edge of the cardstock to the corner of the notch in the board (see the photo below).

Here is the inside of the gift card holder before it was assembled.  I scored the side that would hold my gift card at 1 1/4″ and adhered with tear & tape (I love this stuff).  Then, I just folded the ends together as they would look when closed, and pressed the cardstock flat – no need to worry about measuring!  But if you are one of those that need to measure and score, I believe it’s probably somewhere at the 3 3/4″ mark.

Here is a close-up of the sentiment I used from Flurry of Wishes photopolymer stamp set.  I also used gold thread and glimmer paper to add some bling; always a must for Christmas!  The bracket punch was used with the glimmer paper.  I just punched out one label and cut it in quarters with my paper snips.  Two of the four quarters positioned on different sides of the sentiment seemed to work perfectly!

I have one final view of today’s project, open so you can see how the gift card fits inside.  I did use the subtle stripes satin ribbon as an easy belly band.  I just folded it in half, held together with tear & tape, and finished with the 2″ circles as a sentiment closure.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope this helps those of you who still a bit behind in preparing for Christmas…I know I still have a few things left on my to-do list, but I’m certainly looking for the extra time with my family.  Have a very Merry Christmas!

Hugs & Blessings,
Jennifer
