Today the Sisters in Stamping are sharing some of our favorite parts of the new annual catalog. The variety of projects this week is something I think we’re all going to enjoy! I decided to use the Pop of Pink Suite since it is already one of my favorites for summer. The golds and pinks are so vibrant against the black, don’t you think?
My project is a simple card using two sheets of the specialty dsp. I stamped the ‘thinking of you’ heart sentiment in Melon Mambo. While this stamp does coordinate with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies, I just fussy cut this one image using my paper snips. If I had made several of these, the framelits would have been a absolute must for me – LOL!
The black dsp with the tini hearts was cut out using the largest circle punch. I placed this layer directly on the gold polka-dotted dps, which was applied to a Melon Mambo card base with Stampin Dimensionals.
The heart sentiment was also raised using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then tied Whisper White Bakers Twine towards the center of the Gold Sequin Trim and adhered it at the top of the heart using a mini glue dot.
