Everyday OccasionsThe Everyday Occasions section of the SU! catalog makes it easy to find inspiration and create projects for any occasion – birthdays, thanks, holidays, and more!

Thanks for Everything card / Hold on to Hope stamp set / Well Said stamp set / Cross of Hope dies / Well Written dies / Stitched Shapes dies / Woven Threads dsp / Stampin' Up! / StampinBlessings.wordpress.com

For this thank you card project, I am featuring several dies and stamp sets.  The floral frame was created using the Hold on to Hope stamp set and coordinating dies.  I cut out four floral pieces stamped in Pretty Peacock and positioned them around an oval cut with the Stitched Shapes dies.

Thanks for Everything card / Hold on to Hope stamp set / Well Said stamp set / Cross of Hope dies / Well Written dies / Stitched Shapes dies / Woven Threads dsp / Stampin' Up! / StampinBlessings.wordpress.com

I stamped “for everything” from the Well Said stamp set and die cut two “thanks” from the Well Written dies in Crumb Cake cardstock.  I layered the two dies together so there was a little more dimension in the sentiment.  Finally, I used dimensionals to place the framed piece on my dsp covered cardfront.

New In Color Collection

2019-21 In Color Collection, designer series paper, dsp, Well Written Dies, Woven Threads DSP

The NEW Stampin’ Up! In-Color Collection once again offers the perfect seasonal trends that give depth and balance to the current color collections.  Some find it difficult to come up with color combinations when integrating the new In Colors.  I find the best way to get started is to use DSP for ideas.

SIS062819-InColor2

Today’s project does just this – I selected the Woven Threads DSP as my inspiration while featuring my favorite in the bunch – Perfect Peacock.

SIS062819-InColor3

I love how the folded corners create a frame for the circle die cut sentiment piece.  I used the Well Written Dies and Well Said stamp set to make my own greeting.  One thing that may not be noticed is that the “you” cut out was actually done in Purple Posy.  It seemed too light for me, so I pressed it into the Pretty Peacock ink pad to change the color!

6×6 DPS One Sheet Wonder

Colorful Sesasons, designer series paper, dsp, Garden Impressions DSP, one sheet wonder

Last week, one of the Sisters In Stamping designers created a set of cards by stamping her own One Sheet Wonder.  I was so inspired by her design that I decided to create my own OSW using a sheet of 6×6 DSP.  And since our theme this week is all about Designer Series Paper, it was perfect timing to try out my design.

6x6 one sheet wonder card set / Colorful Seasons Stamp Set / Garden Impressions 6" X 6" DSP / designer series paper / Stampin' Up! / StampinBlessings.wordpress.com

This One Sheet Wonder utilizes the entire 6×6 sheet without any waste/scraps.  No small pieces to throw out or keep hoping you’ll find a use for it later.  Click on a card photo below for a closer view.

The measurements for each piece is as follows:

  • Card #1: 2″ x 3″
  • Card #2: 2″ x 4″
  • Card #3 & 4: one 4″ x 4″ piece cut diagonally from opposite corners creating two triangle pieces
  • Card #5: 3 pieces each measuring at 1″ x 2″

Night of Navy cardstock is used to frame each DSP piece before adhering to my base.  I thought these cards turned out so clean and classy that I didn’t even add any other embellishments.  They look stunning alone or as a set.
