I know what you’re thinking…where have you been, Jennifer! I’m still here, and I’ve not forgotten my promise to provide you a post each week of stamping inspiration. BUT – I do have a good reason (sort of…).
So, a couple of weeks ago we took our family to the lake for some boating, fishing, and fun in the water. We had a great day, but as we were packing up to leave my son fell into the lake carrying a bag with my CAMERA! Luckily, my son was fine but the camera was a goner. For a week and a half we deliberated what to do. Do we send it off for repairs, buy a new one…? So, for a while we had no camera (and thus, no posts). BUT, just before we sent the thing off for repairs my hubby tried the power button once again (knowing it was already fried) and it miraculously turned on – absolutely no signs of problems. Hallelujah! Yep, I give God the glory for this one too! Thank you Lord!
So, I wait no longer to post a long over-due project. This one is a masculine card – which we seem to need more of, especially during the summer months. Here is what I did for my hubby for his Father’s Day card. I used my May Paper Pumpkin Kit (love them, seriously) and of course made it my own.
Paper Pumpkin makes these kits so easy and fun. I love how everything was included. All i needed was my scissors to cut the appropriate size bakers twine. I can’t wait to show you what we did with June’s kit (post to come later) – you will love it! I’d love to see what projects you’ve done lately. Did you make a Father’s Day card? If so, let’s show it off! Send me a link, picture, or blog post.
