My kiddos and I recently had the opportunity to use our July Paper Pumpkin kit. I love this time with my kids. Life gets a little hectic and finding time to stamp together is tough, but this one hour each month is building memories for a lifetime.
This month’s kit was STAR themed – great for party favors, thank you or birthday cards, and beyond…WAY Beyond!
I just love how creative their little minds work, always thinking outside the box! Up first is my son’s thoughts on how this month’s kit should be used. The first thing he tackled was the box. Obviously, it was supposed to be a monkey, not just a gift box! The card turned into a dinosaur or alligator, I’m not sure which :). But the teeth were quite scary looking which is what he wanted.
My girl was super excited about her’s. She used some leftover scraps from my project to finalize her card. Her favorite was the box…but it was most likely because I let her put a few chocolates inside. The card now belongs to me (thank you, sweetie!), but you can be assured she held on to that box of candy!
Lastly, here is my project. I love making cards, so I pulled my box apart to use as other elements on my birthday card and envelope.
All Paper Pumpkin kits come with photopolymer stamps to be used on our clear blocks. Block D is the most universal one and the one that comes with My Paper Pumpkin starter box, but here I am using block H. I recently learned that one of the best things about photopolymer stamps is that they are flexible! I wanted to try it out on this set, so I put a slight curve in my HAPPY…
Didn’t it turn out fabulous?! It is neat and clean, like it was meant to be curved! I’m really loving the versatility of these photopolymer stamps. And there are so many more to come!
Speaking of photopolymer stamps – a new one was just released! Yee-haw!
